1) Arrival:

The delegates will be met at Tangier airport upon their arrival. Please communicate to us the details of your travel (flight number, date, hour, etc) to enable CAFRAD to confirm the hotel reservation and to meet you at the airport.

2) Registration Fees: The participants will pay a lump sum of US$ 300 (three hundred U.S. dollars) or 250 Euros (two hundred fifty Euros) per person.

3) Transport:

            CAFRAD Secretariat will ensure delegates’ transport from Tangier airport to the hotel Intercontinental and vice versa.

5) Lodging of delegates:

            We have booked rooms at Hotel Intercontinental:

                 - Single Room with Breakfast  :   526 DH/TTC about 70 $US =  47  Euros
                 - Double Room with breakfast :   732 DH/TTC about 96 $US =   66 Euros

Delegates should settle directly their hotel bills and all extras.

6) Bank:

            Various banks exist in the center of the city and their branches are open daily from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., except Saturday and Sunday.

The exchange rate on 13 January 2010 is about: 

 1 US Dollar  =    7.65  Moroccan Dirhams
 1 Euro          =  11.11  Moroccan Dirhams

8) Clothes:

In February, it is the winter season in Morocco, it is very cold and it is advisable to bring  a sweater.

10) Visa:

It is required to obtain an entry visa into Morocco, if needed. If there is no Morocan diplomatic representation in your country, would you please fax to us, as soon as possible, the first three pages of your passport to arrange for an entry visa to be delivered to you upon your arrival at Tangier airport.
 
11) Booking, Confirmation of flights:

All delegates are requested to remit their ticket to CAFRAD Secretariat upon their arrival in order to confirm your return flights and to arrange for your transport to Tangier Airport.
